  1. Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools.
  3. Performs all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
  4. Performs related services, such as bed moves, changing mattresses, stripping soiled linen, stocking supplies, etc.
  5. Maintains high standards; works steadily at efficient pace; achieves high QA score.
  6. Interacts hospitably, cheerfully, and supportively with staff, patients, visitors, and work colleagues.
  7. Maintains equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition. Respects Hospital and Company property.
  8. Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
  9. Accepts suggestions and direction from supervisors and Hospital staff.
  10. Honors department's attendance, break, behavior, dress, and safety codes.
  11. Accepts and absorbs Department and Hospital education program.12. Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors. Remains professional always.
  12. Takes initiative in rendering service or responding to needs.
  13. Assists other associates as necessary. Responds to direction as provided.
  14. All other duties as assigned, including operating UV light technology.
