SUMMARY Responsible for the overall supervision of the Credit/ Accounts Receivable Department. Responsible for credit investigation and collecting of delinquent accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure team follows policies and procedures concerning Credit, Collection and Account Receivable. * Review Past Due Reports to ascertain status of collection process. Guide team on next steps in the collection process and/or assess need to send to Collection Agency or Attorney for collection. * Review new and existing accounts’ credit risk based on credit reports, credit references, financial statement analysis and any other information available. * Establish and maintain Credit Limits on customer accounts following Delegation of Authority Guidelines. Complete and send appropriate application to Parent Company. * Review and approve Accounts Receivable adjustment batches. * Manage Engineering accounts. * Complete Monthly Credit Status Reports and send to Management. * Supervise cash application activity. * Attend NACM-National Home Centers & Building Materials Credit Group meetings representing CDBS.
