LANDSCAPE TECHNICIAN - Help us maintain our gardens and allow them to thrive and yield abundantly! The work for this new position entails: \ Maintenance of edible landscapes, food forests, fruit trees, pollinator flower gardens, medicinal herb gardens, etc. \ Maintenance and installation of raised beds for growing food. Occasional irrigation work. \ Weeding, mulching, adding compost, pruning, gardening and general plant care. \ Planting trees, berries, flowers, herbs, garden installation. What we\'re looking for: \ A positive attitude and willingness to work physically in New England weather \ Somebody who demonstrates and practices humility \ Hunger for the work and our mission \ Emotional intelligence and ability to communicate and cooperate with others on fast paced job sites. \ 3+ years of relevant experience with gardening and landscaping \ A valid drivers license so you can drive company trucks \ Ability to work well independently or with others \ Physical and mental fitness; the work is physically challenging This is a seasonal position beginning April first and ending in December. 8+ months of full-time work. 40 to 50 hours a week.
