Currently hiring for B Shift: 3pm-1am Monday - Thursday
Please note that the shift above will not go into effect until September 1st, if hired prior to effective date training times will be coordinated with Manager.
Your Role on Our Team
The Tooling Technician will be responsible for providing tooling and parts necessary to meet production standards and schedules.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Machine replacement partsand tooling per supplied blueprints
Manual machining including mill, lathe, surface grinder
Tooling and fixturing maintenance; including removal from equipment and repair to working condition
Complete purchase requisitions
Order supplies as necessary for sharpening equipment
Operate and set-up equipment to maintain specifications and independently adjust for variations
Perform necessary functions to prepare workstations to meet requirements
Perform preventative maintenance per requirements
Use tool room equipment to sharpen various tools, drill bits, and cutters
Welding, brazing, soldering, and use of hand power tools to complete tasks
Use tool room equipment to mill, drill, grind, bore, and taps to build, repair, or modify tools or fixtures
Perform work per work instructions
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
Practice 5Ss
Other duties as assigned
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years Machine Shop Technical School or 2 years tool room experience
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions as well as drawings and blueprints
College level math
Use of appropriate inspection equipment
Knowledge of applicable jigs, fixtures, index plates, and grinding wheels
Computer proficiency
Knowledge of cutting tools

Physical Demands:
Standing for long periods of time
Repetitive motion
Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers
Able to work in various temperature conditions
