A Shift Hours: 5am-3pm Monday - Thursday

Please note that A shift above will not go into effect until 9/1, if hired prior to effective date training times will be coordinated with Manager.

Your Role on Our Team

The Sr Tooling Technician will be responsible for manufacturing tooling, spare parts and components necessary to meet production standards and schedules.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Fixture and component fabrication for manufacturing areas as well as maintenance department.

  • Operate and setup equipment to maintain specifications and independently adjust for variations

  • Perform necessary functions to prepare workstations to meet requirements

  • Use tool room equipment to sharpen various tools, drill bits, and cutters

  • Use tool room equipment to build, repair or modify tools or fixtures

  • Perform work per instructions, drawings and sketches provided

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

  • Practice 5Ss

  • Other Duties as assigned

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years Machine Shop Technical School or 2 years tool room experience

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions as well as drawings and blueprints

  • College level math

  • Use of appropriate inspection equipment

  • Knowledge of applicable jigs, fixtures and appropriate production tooling

  • Computer proficiency

  • Knowledge of cutting tools

  • Program and operate vertical CNC machines

  • Ability to work well with other and collaborate and share ideas, techniques and knowledge of manufacturing processes

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have: * *

  • Haas and Fanuc Control experience preferred

  • MitsubushiWEDM programming and setup preferred

  • Mastercam/offline CAM programming experience preferred

  • Knowledge of stamping tooling preferred

  • Solidworks skills preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Standing for long periods of time
