FTE: 0.500000 Shift: 1st shift Flexible hours Monday - Friday to equal 20 hrs with occasional on call once a month Job Summary: Works with other members of the Spiritual Services staff to provide spiritual care to patients, visitors and the health care staff of Froedtert Health. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: At least one year of chaplaincy experience preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Completion of an undergraduate degree from a college, university, or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and a graduate-level theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the CHEA. Satisfactory completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or its equivalent. Training Preferred: Documentation of current endorsement or of good standing in accordance with the requirements of his/her own faith/spiritual tradition preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Certification as a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) in with the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains or Spiritual Care Association within three years of hire.
