Base Pay $25.00 - $30.00 / Hour Summary Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on various types of cameras, GPS, and other equipment. This hands-on role requires vehicle mechanical knowledge and the ability to use both hands and power tools.

Responsibilities:

On-site installation, repair, and service tasks for dash camera systems, GPS tracking devices, as well as other fleet-related electronics

Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

Submitting timely and detailed field data via a tablet computer application

Regular maintenance of the installed systems is essential to ensure their optimal performance.

Documenting service and installation actions through mobile forms, reports, logs, and records

Ensuring that all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience as a 12-volt vehicle technician or in a similar role /a plus

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job requirements:

Must have a valid drivers license Ability to work quickly without supervision Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and shifts Must be able to work varied hours, including some weekends and overtime Must be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods, climb ladders, and lift more than 50 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Job Type: Full-time
