Job Description:

Join our client's team in a leadership role as our Store Manager, overseeing their Grafton store! We are excited to invite a dedicated and motivated individual to lead our store towards new heights of success. Key Responsibilities:

Developing a High-Performing Sales Team: Utilize training, coaching, and product knowledge education to build a sales team that consistently exceeds benchmarks.

Recruitment and Training: Conduct recruitment activities, including interviews, hiring, and ongoing training. Provide motivation, advice, and counseling for optimal team performance.

Identifying Knowledge Gaps: Recognize and address knowledge and skill gaps within the sales team, implementing strategies to enhance their capabilities.

Promotion Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of promotional programs and lead regular department meetings to communicate promotions and execution strategies.

Merchandise Supervision: Oversee merchandise tagging for promotions, ensuring the maintenance of daily Show Quality standards.

Order Management: Utilize the company computer system and website for entering, updating, and approving customer orders. Conduct random order verifications for accuracy.

Staff Scheduling: Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments, rotations, training, vacations, breaks, and addressing absences and overtime.

Store Operations: Oversee the opening and closing of the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Communicate concerns and ideas with managers and ownership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are necessary.

• Experience in management, leadership, and/or team building is required.

• Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

• Excellent communication, selling, and negotiation skills.
