Join us as our new Warehouse Scaling Coordinator

This position works under general supervision and is responsible for coordinating and communicating raw material scaling activities between two facilities and multiple departments.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.

  • Communicating with production for services required. Coordinate the timely delivery and pick-up of raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Responsible for accurate computer transactions for related movement of materials.

  • Evaluating and recommending continuous improvement processes and methods. Participate on cross-functional teams to improve operating efficiency.

  • Performing and following GMP, HAACP, and FSMA procedures and guidelines.

  • Performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

  • Interfacing with other departments regarding material deliveries, etc.

  • Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, tubs, racks, and shelves.

  • Conveying materials to proper storage area. Rotate stock as needed. Optimize space utilization.

  • Arranging pick-up of empty drums and pallets through contact with applicable vendors.

  • Operating industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Perform preventative maintenance on lift equipment.

  • Maintaining department housekeeping standards according to GMP and FSMA standards. Clean area by sweeping or operating power scrubber. Comply with all departmental safety and sanitation requirements.

  • Addressing and solving problems with orders, including appropriate departments. Inform appropriate departments of order delays and shortages.

  • Performing cycle counts.

  • Providing excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Performing detailed SAP computer entries.

  • Adhering to guidelines as set forth by religious dietary law certifications (Kosher and Halal).

To succeed you must hold:

  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to the production process.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.

  • Ability to operate a pallet walker and/or forklift, preferred.

  • Ability to use basic hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for assembly and disassembly of equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers regarding the status of the production process.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook. ERP system knowledge (SAP), preferred.

  • These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED with experience in a production environment preferred.
