PRSM Healthcare is hiring Patient Support Representatives!

We are looking for reliable, time-efficient individuals with moderate computer, phone, and communication skills who are looking for a full-time position. This position includes a set schedule, holidays off, health insurance, PTO, and retirement!

The Patient Support Representative serves patients by providing health-related information, scheduling appointments, addressing patient inquiries, and resolving patient service problems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Confer with patients by telephone or electronic means to provide information about health-related information, to schedule or cancel appointments, or to obtain details of complaints. -Keep records of patient interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. -Resolving patient's service or scheduling complaints by performing activities such as rescheduling, canceling appointments, and referring them on to the practice as appropriate. -Use internal and external software to set up functions, enter data, or process information. -Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve patients' problems. -Refer unresolved patient grievances or issues to designated practice departments for further investigation. -Review insurance-related protocols in order to determine whether a particular care event is covered by insurance. -Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written or electronic form, e-mail, or in person. -Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with documented protocol. -Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

*Compensation: *$12.00/hour

Location: In office

*Set schedule: *M-F 9:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

*Education level required: *High School (or formal equivalent)
