Determines the conformance of product to engineering drawings and specifications and determines the airworthiness

of the articles on which maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations are being performed by using inspection

methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools

Inspects incoming materials, manufactured &/or repaired parts and verifies conformance to manufacturer’s

specifications and maintains the traceability of the parts &/or materials,

Ensures positive traceability by completing required documentation IAW internal procedures & work instructions,

Logs incoming parts and distributes to the appropriate departments as prescribed on TAS purchase orders,

Completes in-process inspections as required,

Conducts internal audits and associated documentation,

Performs other duties as assigned,

Pursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions. All inquiries related to citizenship are asked solely to comply with ITAR and EAR export licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of:

o Methods, practices, inspection techniques and tools used in the aerospace inspection role,

o Microsoft office basics,

Skill to:

o Learn industry-related software,

o Utilize inspection equipment, tools, visual aids, and company procedures to inspect incoming manufactured &

repaired parts and traceability documents for compliance to regulations and customer requirements,

Qualified to:

o Meets the requirements of 14CFR Part 145.155,

o Capable of meeting the eligibility requirements of 14CFR Part 145.157, 145.213 and Part 65,
