Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour (Experience-dependent)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities: Operate manual machine tools such as vertical and horizontal lathes, milling machines, and grinders to craft metal parts. Interpret electronic or written blueprints and specifications. Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining tasks. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments. Monitor cutting speed to mitigate vibrations. Ensure precision and accuracy in finished parts using micrometers and other precision instruments. Verify finished parts against drawings for accuracy.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of machinist experience.
