Form Energy Quality Technician in Weirton, West Virginia

Role Description:

The Quality Technician based in Weirton, WV will perform a vital role as a hands-on quality inspector at Form Energy. You will work directly with Production/Operations, Plant Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and the Warehousing teams to ensure the quality of our pilot builds and be directly involved in our scale up of operations. This role is an excellent opportunity to play a special role in the early development of Form Energys new products.

What Youll Do:

Perform measurements, tests, inspections, and audits to support product control plans at the Weirton, WV facility in your assigned area.

Input inspection results into our Quality Management System.

Assist with resolution of non-conformances and corrective actions

Provide feedback on quality procedures and tools to achieve continuous improvement.

Help maintain clean, organized inspection environments in our receiving area, metrology lab, and on the production floor.

Have an eye for quality and flag changes or concerning variations in materials.

Be a champion for safety in all of their work.

What Youll Bring:

3+ years experience in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection

Experience using industry standard metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and optical comparators

Experience working and auditing to industry standards including ISO 9001 or equivalent, NADCAP, ASTM test standards, IPC 610/620/J-STD-001, etc.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Candidates must not experience color vision deficiency or color blindness in order to evaluate color during the manufacturing process.
