Home Depot Warehouse Coordinator- The Company Store in Weehawken, New Jersey

Position Purpose:

This position is key to ensure all correct product and set elements are pulled and delivered to the photo shoot for the duration of the shoot in a timely manner to avoid cost/ delays in photography. Responsible for keeping the offsite warehouse clean and organized where all current and past product is for reference, props and set materials is crucial to the success of our photo shoot. This position also supports the Weehawken Corporate once in daily tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Organize Merchandise: Organize merchandise by recency and category for ease and efficiency in pulling product for the photo shoot and GOM 's. Responsible for the upkeep and organization of off-site warehouse where photo samples and product.

  • 25% Pull and Locate Merchandise: Pull and locate merchandise at warehouse in preparation for photo shoots. Assists art director and stylists pulling props and set materials.

  • 25% Load Product: Loads product and set supplies onto company van or truck and deliver to photo studio on a daily basis throughout photoshoot. Unload van and return all product and set supplies to correct location in warehouse in a timely basis.

  • 10% Manager Merchandise: Manage missing merchandise list and work with internal team to locate product. Responsible for identifying old product and arranging for disposal, donation or sample sale

  • 10% Support Corporate Team: Provide support to Weehawken corporate team as which Includes opening an sealing packages, Simple assembly o product and coordinate movement of samples between once and off site warehouse.

  • This position reports to the Sr. Manager.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:

  • Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication, organizational skills and good time management.

  • Dependable and Reliable.

  • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, dab entry and computer skills may be required.

  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat. Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

  • Must possess a valid drivers license

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
