Webster Groves School District Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in Webster Groves, Missouri

2024-2025 School Year

Primary Objective:To assist the Superintendent and Board of Education to ensure the district is led and governed at the highest level possible.

Major Areas of Accountability:

Prepare for board meetings and act as the secretary to the Board of Education. Coordinate and assist with the policy review process. Special projects as assigned by the superintendent. Greet and direct visitors; answer, direct, record and return phone calls. Manage the superintendent and board calendars. Make all arrangements for district meetings sponsored by the superintendent, record minutes, and distribute summaries to district sta? as appropriate. Monitor and maintain school board and superintendents annual budgets. Assume other responsibilities as apparent or assigned by the superintendent and board. Serve as the district Custodian of Records.

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred Requires 5-10 years training and/or experience as an administrative assistant or executive assistant. High level of initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making skills. Discreet and tactful when handling sensitive and con?dential material. Demonstrates proficiency in conveying information effectively and clearly in both written and oral forms. Possess the math skills necessary to manage multiple budgets.
