JOB DESCRIPTION: Workers will plant, cultivate and harvest crops. Work on planter, plant roots, seeds and bulbs. May spread plastic or other ground covering. Will weed, thin, plants. Transplant plants, riding on transplanter or by hand. May set poles and wires for vine plants. Will pick, cut, lift, or pull crop to harvest them. May tie vegetables in bunches or top them. Will plant and harvest hay. May assist with irrigation. May operate and help maintain tractors or hand-operated equipment. May assist with general farm building maintenance. Lift/carry up to and including 75 pounds. Anticipated hours: Mon-Fri, 7 hours per day, and 5 hours on Saturday is normal; Workers are subject to random drug testing.
