In this position...

The Production Supervisor for Materials, Planning and Logistics is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Production Supervisors are:

What you'll do...

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements

  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts

  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership

  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

Required Behaviors

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations

  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers

  • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset

  • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies

  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively

  • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Materials, Planning and Logistics experience

  • Safety and quality experience

  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified

  • Knowledge of constraint management principles

  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
