Technical Service Specialist

The Core Diagnostics Benelux team offers the position Technical Service Specialist (field based). This position reports directly to the Technical Service Leader.

Primary objective of the position

The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing onsite activities related to planned or proactive maintenance, demand calls, hardware & software upgrades, and installations.

Major accountabilities

  • Schedule and perform planned or proactive maintenance activities to increase reliability of the instruments

  • Follow up on demand calls by troubleshooting for which usage of remote analysis tools will be required

  • Perform instrument installations and deinstallations

  • Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators (tickets per day, First time fix rate & Mean time to repair) and economic growth and profitability per region

Educational background

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical / electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.

Requirements / Work experience

  • Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references

  • Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.

  • Technical expert for product line responsibility

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues

  • Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
