Head Cook

  • 7.5 hours/day
  • Wauseon Middle School
  • 2023-2024 school year - approximate starting date: May 2024
  • Essential  job duties include but not limited to:

-prepare and cook school breakfast and lunch 

-follow current HACCP procedures 

-maintain necessary documentation --production records

-order within a fiscally responsible budget

-overall management of the kitchen

-manage food/supply inventory 

  • Level 2 Certification in Food Protection
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of the QSP manager and QSP POS
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of and proper use of kitchen equipment
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of NSLP, NSBP and snack program
  • Record of excellent attendance
