Job Description & Qualifications: Job Summary Provide teaching assistance, as directed by the lead instructor, to students in assigned courses or labs at NTC campuses or other related training locations throughout NTC\'s territory. Delivery of skills and performance assessments, and assist students with unique skill learning with individualized in-class support. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Under the direction of the course instructor, provide clarification of activities and support individualized skill or knowledge development of students during class time Complies with the College policies and lead instructor direction regarding student testing, recordkeeping, etc. Provide one-on-one or small group support during class time in lab-based settings Introduce, clarify, or reinforce material or skill attainment during class Collaborate and maintain consistent communication with the course instructor on the progress of students throughout each class session Technology Skills Working knowledge of computers and electronic equipment, internet navigation, including classroom technology and other instructional equipment Securely access College network systems utilizing appropriate multi-factor authentication Use electronic timesheet to report work hours Access organizational emails regularly to receive College updates and communications Qualifications Education/training, knowledge/skills, and direct occupational experience in the content area of assistance. Ability to pass NTC\'s insurance carrier standards and MVR check as a required condition of employment if the individual will operate an NTC-owned vehicle.
