NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Service Project Coordinator in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

  • Supports Construction Service Manager and Service Department Managers to ensure that the administrative and technical aspects of a project are executed as required.

  • Sets-up projects in ERP System.

  • Requests and submits certificates of insurance with outside insurance brokers.

  • Monitors schedule with project team & dispatch Service Electricians; manages vendors and subcontractors.

  • Assists with managing project productivity, costs, billing, quality and safety consistent with company policies.

  • Prepares, reviews, and/or edits correspondence, reports, proposals, project submittals, warranties, and close out documents.

  • Prepares and submits permit applications, inspection reports and requests for change orders.

  • Manages documentation control to include ensuring all project related details are filed appropriately.

  • Performs administrative functions such as arranging meetings, ordering team lunches, copying, filing, answering/routing phone calls.

  • Prepares, coordinates and maintains RFI, CO, and Submittal Logs and enters project plans and change order budgeting.

  • Performs additional duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 or more years recent administrative support experience, commercial electrical or construction project coordinator experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL).

  • Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and customer service support skills.

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

  • Ability to care for the customer needs while following company procedures.

  • Effective time-management skills including ability to utilize available time to complete work within given deadlines.

  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
