JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join Our Team as a Packaging Machine Operator! As a Packaging Machine Operator, you play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our packaging machinery. Your commitment to adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards will contribute significantly to producing top-quality packages of our products. Essential Functions: Safety and Quality Focus: Adhere strictly to company human safety policies and procedures. Comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory practices and procedures to maintain the highest standards. Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate packaging machines to ensure the finished product meets all customer and regulatory requirements. Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment during product changeovers to maintain cleanliness and product integrity. Conduct thorough inspections of packaging equipment before line start-up and during changeovers. Responsibility and Documentation: Take ownership of packaging line results, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and personnel. Maintain accurate and legible records/documentation to track production and quality metrics. Foster communication with coworkers and maintenance staff to ensure optimal equipment performance. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old. Preferably at least 1 year of packaging machine operator experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards. Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, Allergens, and Personal Protective Equipment. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Fast-paced food packaging environment with potential weekend work and overtime. Exposure to various temperatures, concrete floors, and noise levels exceeding 85 dB.
