TEKsystems Inside Sales Representative in Waukegan, Illinois

Description:

Inside Sales plays a foundational role in the company's success which is why we're looking for people who can support our sales initiatives. You'll be responsible for representing products and services to designers within an assigned account base with the objective to generate meaningful and substantial sales growth.

Working in Inside Sales, you'll become a product and install specialist, setting you on a path for professional growth and career advancement with our company!

Account Maintenance and Sales:

Along with seeking out new opportunities to gain market share, you'll also develop long-term designer relationships and present solutions through the company line of products and services to generate incremental sales volume. While designer contact is made primarily through telephone interaction, you'll also facilitate in-person meetings quarterly at both workroom locations and designer offices.

Account Management:

You'll maintain dealer programs for discounts, sample, and display costs with all sales contacts, consistently gather and report information relating to competitor activity, enter call detail in the sales reporting program each day, and communicate designer status updates.

Training Support and Administration: Not only will you solicit training needs but you'll also provide sales training as an ongoing element of the vendor-dealer relationship.

-Will be assigned a territory and accounts to call on.

-All calls will be warm calls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • B2B Sales experience selling tangible items (2 years)

  • Able to convey technical expertise and knowledge over the phone

  • Strong sales mentality and understanding of sales tools

Nice Haves:

  • B2B Sales in Manufacturing

  • Selling windows, blinds, or shades

  • CRM Software

  • Corporate Sales
