Job Summary:As an Endoscopy Technician (CNA) you will play a vital role in ensuring that endoscopic procedures are conducted safely and efficiently, supporting both medical staff and patients throughout the process.

Job Description:

The Role: Endoscopy Technician (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant

This position’s core responsibilities include scope cleaning, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory. In this role, the Endoscopy Technician (CNA) will assist with setting up rooms for procedures and will provide patient care.

  • On-call flexibility is required for this role.

The Work:

  • Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.

  • Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.

  • Works closely with Doctors and RNs in procedure rooms.

  • Greets patients and visitors.

  • Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

  • Assists with keeping unit and procedure rooms stocked, clean, neat, and orderly.

  • Assists with the admission and discharge process of patients.

You Have:

  • Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active State of Maine CNA certificate

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

  • Must have the ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and have good problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and technical sup

  • port skills
