North Country Orthopaedic Group – Wound Care Clinic RN - Per Diem Tuesday-Friday variable Day Shift 8-4:30pm

Pay Range: $36.54-$60.29*

The primary function of the Registered Nurse is assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in an ambulatory, wound healing center in collaboration with the provider. This position is responsible for meeting the established Wound Center Standards of nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients. Demonstration of ongoing professional growth is mandatory. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities.

Qualifications:

  • Current registered nurse New York State licensure.

  • Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

  • 3-years med/surg, CCU, ED or other related nursing experience

  • Strong patient teaching skills and an interest in wound care

  • Knowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.

  • Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues.
