Job Description

Are you looking to take the next step in your career in the industry, but don’t want to give up the culture and people that brought you into the bicycle retail world? Are you just as passionate about connecting with people as you are about cycling?

You could work alongside like-minded people who bring their passion for cycling into the work they do every day supporting the success of our global network of bicycle retailers.

The Trek University training team is hiring a Product and Sales Trainer to produce effective training that helps retail employees provide better in-store experiences for their customers and improve their sales.

You will be directly responsible for all parts of the training content creation process and help support the success of Treks’ network of bicycle retailer partners.

You will collaborate with other departments within Trek including, but not limited to Trek Retail, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to create and deliver training content via online video, print materials, and in-person training events.

A primary responsibility for this role is supporting new Trek bike and aftermarket product launches with retailer-centric video training.

This position is based out of our global headquarters in Waterloo, Wisconsin where cows vastly outnumber people, and the cheese curds always squeak.

If you’re the kind of bike-nerd who geeks out at new products, loves to debate the merit of new bike technologies, and is excited to take on a new challenge every day, this job could be for you.

  • Excellent copywriting, proofing, and editing skills.

  • Ability to present training material in a fun and engaging way both on-camera and in-person.

  • ‘Learn it all’ attitude with an openness to new ideas.
