Description

The individual will join our Centrotherm Warehouse Team reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor. This is a first shift position, Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing shipments and receipt of outgoing and incoming material, parts, and products. The ideal candidate can work independently and has attention to detail.

Job duties:

  • Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies

  • Handle all aspects of receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received from suppliers.

  • Maintain records for all inbound receipts per documented processes as well as non-conforming products, purchase orders, or damaged shipments.

  • Manage all important documents such as travelers, bills of lading, etc.

  • Supports the Quality inspection process; records and checks quantity and quality of goods received.

  • Investigate and resolve Shipping/Receiving related issues.

  • Work within and promote established safety and quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff.

  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting physical inventory

  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times following principles of 5S

  • Support our culture of continuous improvement

  • Wear the proper safety equipment

  • Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed

Requirements

Experience and Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • Moderate to advanced computer knowledge of MS Office applications

  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred

  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills

  • Dependable and Reliable

  • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear

  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Salary Description

$21.50 / hr to $23.50 / hr
