Compensation: $19-21/HR (negotiable based on experience) + full benefits

Role Overview:

As a CNC Machinist Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading the 2nd shift CNC machine operations. This position requires a skilled individual with expertise in CNC machining, a strong technical background, and leadership capabilities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a team of CNC machine operators during the 2nd shift.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure optimal performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

CNC Machine Operation:

  • Operate CNC machines and ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Maintain high standards of precision and quality in machining processes.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to uphold TDS standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as assembly and tooling, to facilitate a seamless production workflow.
  • Collaborate with supervisors from other shifts for effective communication and transition of responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, with leadership experience.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines, including Fadal, Bridgeport, Neway, and Brother CNCs (preferred but not required).
