Job Purpose

The Research Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, smooth and efficient operations of our reasearch facilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • * Develop and execute global Product Stewardship strategy, policies, standards, programs, operating procedures and management system to ensure compliance with chemical management and product laws and regulations globally, effective risk management and business continuity and growth.
  • * Represent Product Stewardship in the new product development process and new application review to effectively integrate Product Stewardship product design, supply chain and product lifecycle and managing systems.
  • * Research Operations involved as a signoff in approvals to review completeness and maintain consistency of data for Technical Document Packages.
  • * Communicate new and anticipated regulatory requirements for new product development in cooperation with Regulatory group.
  • * Support raw material investigations and audits where necessary.
  • * Coordinate and review Global raw material specifications for Circuitry Solutions.
  • * Interact and respond to global suppliers and other applicable functions in supporting new products and raw materials.
  • * Represent business in the development of an Master Data Management (MDM) system.
  • * Product Rationalization for Circuitry Solutions.
  • * Generate and review Certificates of Compliance (CoC), Letters of Compliance (LoC) to protect Confidential Business Information (CBI)
  • * Review Intellectual Property Inquiries for Electronics Business - Safety Data Sheets and formula inquiries.
  • * Maintain XW, EXP listings.
  • * Analysis of the intellectual property landscape of our competitors.
  • * Enforce measures to protect company Intellectual Property (IP).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • * Strong computer skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • * Ability to review formulations, QC specifications and raw material documentations.
  • * Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • * Experience or aptitude to be trained in SAP/JDE/PowerBI/WinLIMS/CPro/etc.
  • * Excellent communication skills
Education

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Relevant industry
