Looking for Licensed State of Alaska Journeyman Plumbers to join our established and growing team!

Workman Mechanical LLC is an established and growing full service plumbing and heating company doing work in the residential and commercial markets throughout Alaska, this includes new construction, renovations, repairs, and replacements. Constructing mechanical systems for a variety of private, public, and rural projects. Our team has a combined 45 years of extensive experience and expertise in the mechanical industry.

We offer high competitive wages and a sign on Bonus of $2,500 after 6 months of employment !!!

  • Licensed State of Alaska Journeyman Plumbers-

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade

  • Installand repair of plumbing and hydronic heating systems, piping, equipment, and fixtures
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
  • Must be able to travel to remote areas in Alaska for varying periods of time to complete project
