Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with a minimum of 1 year of experience to assist with a variety of carpentry projects, including remodeling and new construction. The ideal candidate will be versatile and ready to take on tasks ranging from framing to finishing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, flooring, and trim work.
- Execute painting, staining, and sealing of surfaces as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision.
- Assist in remodeling projects from the ground up, ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Basic understanding of carpentry tools and techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites in Anchorage and Talkeetna.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
