Application Developer

Clearance: Must be eligible for a DOD Top Secret Clearance (Active clearance preferred)

Status: Exempt

Location: Hybrid (2 Day Onsite/3 Day Remote)

Salary: $120-130K

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain archive/record management applications using: .NET, C#, VB, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL Server 2016 (or newer), and PostgreSQL.

  • Implement new features and optimize existing code for performance and maintainability.

  • Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions to meet business needs.

  • Customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows using various tools.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SharePoint solutions and performance monitoring processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.

  • Develop and maintain strategies for performance tuning, including maintaining performance metrics and conducting regular performance testing.

  • Experience in version maintenance and tracking using GitHub.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in developing web applications on Microsoft and Linux platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proficient in .NET, C#, VB, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL Server 2016 (or newer), PostgreSQL.

  • Experience developing and incorporating new functions in archival/records management applications.

  • Demonstrated professional experience in analytical roles, working with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server for application development, data extraction, and support.

  • Skilled in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

  • Experience with Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development life cycle.

  • Knowledge of and experience with spreadsheets and Microsoft query tools.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies like Office 365, PowerApps, and Power Automate.

  • Strong understanding of SharePoint frameworks (2007-2019) and WSS (2.0 and 3.0), both on-premises and Office 365.

  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining database schemas and server-side applications and services.

  • Skilled in customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows using SharePoint Designer and other tools.

  • Proficient in developing and deploying custom web parts, features, and applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

  • Ability to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

  • Experience in backend development tasks, including querying SharePoint objects and creating workflows.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recommend enhancements for quality and efficiency improvement.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to produce finished reports containing analyses and recommendations.

  • Experience with Government-mandated 508 compliance and web design best practices.

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain & maintain a Top Secret clearance.

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) – can be obtained withing 6-months post-hire.
