DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Within this role, you will conduct professional administrative duties involving the review, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, and coordination of the Children and Adolescent Service System Program for Washington County.  A primary focus of this position is the coordination of care for at-risk youth who are involved in multi-systems by having CASSP meetings to develop a multi-system service plan that will meet the individualized needs of the child and family.  Under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Director, the CASSP Coordinator facilitates problem-solving and inter-agency meetings for children or adolescents who are involved in multiple service systems in order to assist in the development of a collaborative service plan, follow-up with team members to assure implementation, and provide ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of the service plan.

The CASSP Coordinator provides technical assistance to contract and service providers, interprets rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and provides advice regarding overall policies and program objectives.  You will also have the opportunity to serve as a member of the Washington County Student Assistance Program (SAP) Coordination Team and provide trainings about CASSP.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will be required to work outside of normal scheduled hours, such as evenings and weekends. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree;or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening and medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
