Finelli Consulting Engineers (FCE), a division of Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team! FCE is a respected, multi-discipline consulting firm specializing in civil and municipal engineering, land surveying, land use planning, environmental permitting, and construction services in both public and private sectors. This position is for an energetic surveyor to lead the survey crew and will be responsible for the survey work on projects for private and public sector clients.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Finelli Consulting Engineers team. Duties include:

  • Perform construction stake out and calculations, boundary, ALTA and topo surveys

  • Coordinate project requirements with team members

  • Manage survey projects, maintain project budgets

  • Prepare preliminary and final plats, legal descriptions, exhibits.

    What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience

  • Professional Survey Licensure required or the ability to obtain licensure within six months

  • Proficiency with GPS and Total Station

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Ability to manage/direct field crew

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask with respect to projects, CAD/computer standards, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Explorer, Word, Excel Outlook)

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Possess organizational and communication skills.
