CACI is seeking a C4I/C5I Test Engineer for our PEO Aircraft Carriers program located in Washington DC.

What You’ll Get to Do:

In providing Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) / Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Combat and Intelligence (C5I) Support, the candidate shall:

  • Support aircraft carrier C4I/C5I Interoperability testing and Net-Ready Joint certification during the ship’s PDT&T period to include; test planning, test procedure development, pre-test execution, test execution, and post-test execution data analysis.

More About the Role:

C4I/C5I Subject Matter Expert (SME) Interoperability test support will be provided during ship’s pre-PDT&T and the PDT&T periods:

  • Work with CACI T&E Team members, Government, Military and other Contractor personnel to support the CVN 78 Class ship Net-Ready Certification efforts

  • Support PMS 378 efforts for turnover of Interoperability recertification of CVN 78 to PMS 312 (in-service Aircraft Carriers).

  • Support JITC representatives during shipboard interoperability data collection.

  • Support the review of technical documentation (Test Plans, Test Plans, and Test Reports).

  • This position may require candidate to visit and/or work aboard the aircraft carrier at the ship’s homeport or other ports and during underway periods.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field is preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience testing C4I/C5I systems with emphasis on Interoperability.

  • Ability to interface with team members and technical leads.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams).

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Aircraft Carrier experience associated with C4I/C5I interoperability testing as a naval officer or enlisted personnel.

  • Familiar with the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).

  • Master's Degree in a Technical Field is a plus.

  • PEO Aircraft Carriers or NAVSEA acquisition experience is a plus.
