VectorCSP Sr Mechanical Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Summary:

Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Polar Security Cutter (PSC) (CG-9326) Program Management Office (PMO).

Education and Experience:

  • A ctive Professional Engineer's License in either NAME (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering

  • PM Level II or equivalent certification

  • A t least ten (10) years demonstrated experience with Government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.

  • E xperience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.

    Essential Duties:

  • Technical Management Services including, but not limited to, all services related to engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems)

  • Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents
