Intel Software Strategy Specialist - Client AI and Graphics in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

We are seeking a software strategy specialist who can help us better position our client SoCs and GPUs for a market that is being transformed by emerging AI and graphics technologies.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Identify and track emerging trends and technologies in artificial intelligence and computer graphics.

  • Provide insights and analysis to help guide our hardware and software roadmap decisions in client computing and graphics.

  • Understand the key APIs and frameworks used for graphics and AI development.

  • Identify opportunities to improve our current software stacks and tool sets and help prioritize efforts to address the needs of end users and developers.

  • Track emerging AI and graphics workloads: models, applications, integrations, and emerging use cases in both cloud and client computing. Help the team decide which applications and models to support and optimize for Intel client hardware.

  • Create content, including slides and visual presentations of data, to illustrate and contextualize AI and graphics developments for the broader team.

  • Contribute to building a culture oriented toward serving the changing client computing well in a competitive environment.

  • Work across teams to track internal software development projects. Develop an accurate understanding of their status and report out to stakeholders on their progress.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or prolonged course of study in specialized field or equivalent experience per business needs/job requirement

  • 3+ years of experience in the tech or semiconductor industries1+ year of experience in ML development, including familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Intel client computing products and roadmap and competing GPUs and SoCs.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $92,847.00-$148,355.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
