Job Description

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SME AC/DC Engineer to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The AC/DC Engineer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and/or testing installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems, in support of SED tasks.

  • Has RF circuit experience, DC analog and digital design, analysis, and simulation experience, and experience in the use of electronic tools (e.g., network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators).

  • Help to analyze Electromagnetic Controls/Electromagnetic Interference (EMC/EMI).

  • May evaluate for radiated and conducted emissions requirements, electromagnetic susceptibility requirements, and to meet constant and transient voltage requirements.

  • Provide support to programs in developing specifications and performance requirements for border security sensor systems and related infrastructure.

  • May support program cost analysis and cost estimating activities for testing or integrating new designs into existing systems.

  • Participate in program technical design reviews involving electrical engineering disciplines and support analysis and evaluation required for fielding systems and recommends changes to processes or procedures as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering

  • 10 years of experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering.

  • Experienced in MBSE; Registered Professional Engineer; design drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems and equipment infrastructure desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
