SAIC Service Desk Shift Lead in Washington, District Of Columbia
SAIC is seeking an IT Service Desk Shift Lead to support a large federal government agency. Employee will perform on-site, at a secure government location on one of three shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations.
Description of Duties:
Maintain shift schedules, monitor time and attendance for employees.
Distribute work assignments based on priority, roles and skills.
Supervise, provide training and assist with tasks as necessary.
Mentor and provide feedback for performance evaluations.
Perform service desk tasks as necessary.
Required Education & Experience
AA Degree in related discipline and six (6) years related experience; OR, High School and seven (7) years related experience with relevant certification.
Experience leading a team of 15-25 employees.
Experience in personnel management.
Ability to escalate program issues to management for assistance.
Ability to act independently while routinely being reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interim Secret clearance to start work. Must be able to receive final Secret clearance.
Desired Experience and Certifications
Help Desk Institute (HDI) or Service Desk Institute (SDI) certification
ITIL Foundations Certification
Experience with ServiceNow
