Work you'll do

  • Background: The government agency is modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of agency services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of the effort, the government agency's OCIO is establishing a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. This requirement will be administered centrally to directly support ITOS and Cybersecurity Divisions.

  • Description:

  • Install new hardware and software making sure that all components (hardware and software) interface correctly with each other and the network - including new servers, backups, Microsoft Desktop/server operating system sets. To include base software and applications installed on servers such as antivirus, desktop/system monitoring tools, and SPIs etc.

  • Design, implement, and maintain DHCP configurations.

  • Support and operate systems within VMware and Azure cloud environments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years' experience installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

  • Expert level knowledge of core Infrastructure services and functions including virtualization (VMWare), DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, etc. Experience with scripting and automation tools as well as knowledge of Azure cloud key services.

  • 8+ years' experience administering Windows Server in an enterprise environment.

  • Experience working in and deploying services in Microsoft Azure and VMWare environments.

  • 2+ years' experience leading successful deployments of enterprise class solutions, skilled at producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.

  • Bachelors Degree required.

  • Current/ Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Location: Boyers, PA, Macon, GA, or Washington DC locations
