System One Senior Software Developer (TS/SCI clearance) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Senior Software Developer

Work Location: 5 days onsite in Washington, DC

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

As Senior Software Developer , you’ll provides subject matter expertise to the team and the customer for all things development with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, in regard to development, to the team and the customer

  • Research, design, test, evaluate, and implement technologies related to Kubernetes, containerization and other infrastructures

  • Work on the core platform to create and optimize all functions needed to establish a strong platform infrastructure

  • Collaborates with the team and the customer daily

    What you’ll need to succeed:

    Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD Automation

  • A bachelor's degree and an active TS/SCI security clearance

  • Experience with software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go; as well as experience working in a DevSecOps environment

  • Experience working with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub

  • Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)

  • Ability to work well on a team as well as individually

  • Ability to work in downtown Washington, DC on client-site 5 days per week.
