Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Senior Environmental Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Manager with 10 or more years of experience for the Washington, D.C. area.
The selected individual will manage current staff and projects while spearheading office expansion. They will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring new staff to facilitate office growth. Additionally, they will handle all business and project management functions, such as proposal preparation and review, invoice scrutiny, budget monitoring, collections, and ensuring profitability. Environmental Manager Responsibilities will include:
Brownfields, regulatory interaction and related work
Perform quality review of deliverables, providing constructive feedback to team
Ability to manage and mentor team members
Preparation of proposals and budgets
Project accounting management
Perform Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), asbestos surveys, and lead-based paint surveys
Successfully write and review reports and other deliverables
Interact with clients, regulators and contractors
Environmental Manager - Requirements
BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
10 or more years' experience as noted above
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong marketing and business development skills; ability to generate new and repeat business
