Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required OR equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated instructional writing skills and experience to provide clear and concise direction on technically complex equipment

  • Proficiency in communicating technical information to various stakeholders and related technical staff

  • Edit and proofread their own work and the work of other specialists to ensure the documents they create are free of grammatical mistakes and technical inaccuracies.

  • Self-starter with project management skills, constructive critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and ability to work independently

  • Proficient PC skills, with expert command of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Flexibility to work extended hours if required

Requirements

  • 6-9 years of experience

  • Knowledge in technical fields such as physical security, engineering, computer science, or information systems.

  • Demonstrated experience/working knowledge of various data management business systems including Procurement, Work Management, Business Operations, and Training

  • Some experience in railroad related or similar transportation or industrial activity with well-developed understanding of technical concepts, terms, and various fleet and equipment nomenclature. Interpersonal Skills
