Cayuse Holdings Project Advisor-Level II in Washington, District Of Columbia

Overview

The Project Advisor Level II will provide support include providing architectural, related engineering consultation, coordination support and advisory for the renovation of buildings. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Providing architectural, related engineering consultation, coordination support and advisory for the renovation of buildings

  • Specific tasks include the overall project coordination and assistance in financial management; program development; housing and space planning, design, cost estimating, construction oversight, inspection, scheduling, relocation, technical reviews, presentations, progress meetings, post occupancy, commissioning, written documentation, architectural and engineering consultation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • PMP certification is required at start date or must be obtained within 12 months of hiring and kept up to date.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of specialized experience (listed above) required, with demonstrated increasing responsibility.

  • Analyzing and evaluating the management, coordination, and monitoring of projects in order to facilitate the acquisition process.

  • Planning, evaluating, and maintaining technical surveillance over operations required to support the program goals and objectives of assigned actions.

  • Proficient with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) applications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Must possess problem-solving skills.

  • Communicating, both verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and instruction related to facilitating the acquisition process (i.e., justifying, negotiating, and resolving controversial issues and problems).

  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.

  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.

  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.
