M.C. Dean is looking for an Operations & Process Analyst II to join a consulting team focused on providing our client’s management team with analysis and recommendations for improving mission critical functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members on a variety of analytical efforts, product development, and customer communications preparation.

  • Structure and conduct research – open source and enclave specific.

  • Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.

  • Develop process flow diagrams to depict current “as-is” processes for the customer and leverage those to conduct operational gap analysis. Then develop “to-be” process flow diagrams to propose to the customer as an effective way forward.

  • Strong writing skills, ability to work with the team to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, policies, directives, etc.

  • Establish client relationships, assess client issues and propose project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist the project leadership’s understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities.

  • Design, analyze, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes.

  • Develop operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements.

  • Prepare documentation, reports and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions.

  • Ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics.

  • Demonstrate professional etiquette and ability to interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government.

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain a US DoD SECRET clearance is required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience OR Associates degree with 6+ years of military experience.

  • Familiarity with systems architectures and process development practices.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint (site editing and management).

Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

  • Identify and understand the speech of another person.
