Overview i3 has an exciting opportunity for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies. Responsibilities Contributing team member solving highly technical problems in the area of EW technologies. Proficient in running existing and interpreting simulation codes in various operating systems and languages (i.e. Linux, C++). Understanding of microwave (RF) propagation and associated devices. Understanding of missile aerodynamics and control. Ability to model the Electromagnetic field interactions with software. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Minimum two (2) years of experience. Proficient with C/C++ programming language. Desired: Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Five (5) years of experience. Experience with electromagnetic modeling software (e.g. HFSS and ADS) Experience with radar systems. Security Clearance: Active Secret.
