Mid Schedule Analyst

Seeking a skilled schedule analyst professional for an opportunity to support NUWC Newport in creating and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for a variety of Undersea Warfare Weapons, Vehicles, and Defensive Systems. This position is located on a customer site in Newport, Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Code 85 Intergraded Master Schedule Guide
  • Create program schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Perform and present monthly updates of program schedules, including tracking percent complete, revised start/finish dates, and changes to addition or elimination of tasking.
  • Prepare schedule analysis of the impact to baseline cost, schedule and technical requirements resulting from changes to the Sponsor Project Objectives and Requirements
  • Create what if scenario exercises including
    • Critical path assessments
    • Task interdependency assessments
    • Impact of early or late starts on cost and schedule
    • Tradeoffs between resources, cost and time
  • Create and Present Gantt Charts, Project Evaluation and Review Technique Charts

Skills Required

Required:

  • Three (3) years of DoD experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelors degree in business, management, finance, or similar knowledge area

Desired

  • Five (5) years DoD experience
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification

Education

Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences
