Insight Global Litigation Paralegal - Hybrid in Washington, D.C. or Boston, MA in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a prestigious global law firm client. This is a full-time position based out of the law firm's Washington, D.C. office location. This firm continues to be named one of the best law firms in the U.S. and the U.K., servicing top organizations in the business, finance, technology, and government industries.

The litigation paralegal will play a key role in supporting the firm's clients through strategizing case files and supporting the process management through all stages of the litigation process. In this role, the paralegal will assist and collaborate with attorneys, senior paralegals, and litigation technology professionals daily. The firm will compensate the paralegal for any overtime work and requires flexibility to travel, although this will not be frequent.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

* Create and implement paper and electronic document collection, case files, review and production systems, and tracking documents

* Provide assistance to attorneys in reviewing documents and drafting privilege logs for production to opposing party

* Display understanding of intermediate e-discovery and computer forensics concepts such as litigation holds, Preservation of data, and chain of custody

* Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations, as well as communicate with clients and other outside entities

* Conduct research (factual, legal, internet, and other) to identify issues and relevant matters to then prepare compilation of findings

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, in the office 3 days a week, in Washington, D.C.

Skills and Requirements

* 2-5 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm.

* Proficiency with database management software, automated litigation support tools, medium case collection, and document production & review

* Exceptional understanding of the litigation process and e-discovery

* Bachelor's Degree * Trial Experience null
