Junior Management Analyst (0028)

OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Junior Management Analyst to support a Federal government client. The responsibilities for the Junior Management Analyst include:

  • Collect and analyze data on the client organization's processes, policies, performance, and efficiency.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for informed decision-making by the client’s senior management.

  • Resolve complex problems, which require in-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies/principles.

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements or strategic changes.

    Collaborate with geographically separated cross-functional teams from a remote environment to gather information and ensure alignment in documentation efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated relevant experience with federal acquisition, management consulting, strategic planning, and/or data analytics.

  • Proven experience providing technical writing support to a federal government program office.

  • Proven experience previously working in the federal acquisition space or on federal acquisition-related projects.

  • Prior experience working for a federal management consulting firm is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience working on federal IT modernization or IT-related projects is highly desirable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.

  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders.

  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience in presenting control requirements and deficiencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Certifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.

  • The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check
