Infrastructure Project Coordinator SME Minimum

Location:Washington, DC

  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management;

  • Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing infrastructure IT projects and operations in an organization similar in size to DISA-J6

  • Must have infrastructure mechanical and electrical infrastructure knowledge;

  • Experience with mission critical infrastructure maintenance and incident response while maintaining continuous operation of the infrastructure;

  • Clear understanding of critical building systems and levels of redundancy;

  • Clear understanding of the key technology components, interaction, and the organization of the infrastructure environment, including a basic understanding of network design;

  • Strong understanding of energy use and reduction opportunities in infrastructure;

  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management;

  • Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing infrastructure IT and engineering projects in an organization similar in size to DISA-J6, Pentagon experience preferred;

  • Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to infrastructure operations, server room consolidation, networking, passive cabling, and electrical maintenance;

  • Must have experience in operating, maintaining, and consolidating enterprise level infrastructure;

  • Must have experience in evaluating and establishing facility requirements;

  • Must have expert knowledge in translating high level functional and technical requirements for infrastructure based on interactions with the user community;

Must have working experience with modernizing and sustaining enterprise classified infrastructure to include cabling, networking, and power;

  • Must have experience with base-lining infrastructure resources (floor space, power, cooling, cabling);

  • Experience managing the execution of Data Center Consolidations as well as Data Center and/or Application Migrations

  • Experienced with risk management strategies (e.g., documents risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitations);

  • Top Secret/SCI Required
